Sounds familiar?

Let's do something about it!

In the past three decades, I have been developing software. On my own, with small teams of merely a few developers, and with hundreds of engineers in large organizations. Many problems look overwhelming at first, but with the right strategy, these issues can be addressed and resolved.

Review your release process and find weak points that can be improved, enabling your team to work at peak performance.
Coach and train your team to get the most out of the existing infrastructure.
Assist your team in refactoring your existing code base to make it easier to test and maintain, and identify “hot spots” that must be addressed first.

Using my experience, I help your team to get the most out of your DevOps infrastructure, and your automated tests. The goal is to make your releases reproducible, reliable and robust.

Swift — Der Sprachkurs für Einsteiger und Individualisten

February 2015 — June 2016

In 2016, I authored my second book, which was an adaptation of my previous book on Objective-C to the new Swift programming language. While I put a lot of effort into writing and publishing the book, I regret to say that it quickly became outdated due to frequent revisions of the programming language by Apple. As a result, I am no longer able to recommend it as a useful resource for learning Swift.
